France – Samedi 31/10/2020 – FOWT, the world’s largest event dedicated to floating offshore wind, confirms its 2021 venue and launches its much awaited call for papers. Deadline for submission: 23th of November 2020. We are pleased to announce that for its next edition, FOWT 2021 will travel to Brittany and will be held on April 13th, 14th and 15th, 2021. The exact venue will be announced in the coming weeks.

As the industry is gaining traction across the world, the general theme of next year’s event will focus on « FOWT : Full speed ahead. »  This new edition will feature a call for papers. If you want to make a presentation, please refer to the  application guidelines. The large success of this year’s edition, gathering over 700 attendees from 27 different countries, has again prompted the organizer to set up an international scientific and technical committee whose task is to select the most pertinent presentations as well round-table’ compositions and topics.

FOWT’s main objective is to continue proposing new, varied and relevant presentations where « best of science » and « best of technology » can be seen and discussed. Such focus is certainly one of the reasons behind FOWT’s success as internationally recognized speakers share their experiences as well as their vision of future challenges in front of an increasingly accurate and expert audience. The organization committee, made up of the Mediterranean maritime and coastal economy cluster, Pôle Mer Méditerranée, and the French wind energy association, France Energie Eolienne are already hard at work to make the 2021 edition an even bigger success.

Deadline for submission: 23th of November 2020. Call for Papers

We await your proposals and we hope you and your loved ones stay safe during this challenging time.
