The 11th annual World Ocean Summit returns to Lisbon, leading the way to spark conversation and action in the transition to a sustainable ocean economy. The event will convene the widest cross-section of the ocean community from business and finance to government, national and international policymakers, civil society and academia.

With a focus on ocean health, industry strategies and ocean-climate solutions, the summit will feature more than 180 expert speakers in panels, presentations, roundtables and “How to” workshop sessions. The “How to” workshops groups are new for 2024 and will create a set of action points and practical takeaways for individuals and organisations committed to restore ocean health.

The two and a half day event will take place at the Lisbon Congress Centre, Lisbon and will bring together over 1500+ attendees. Experts and senior leaders in the industry will be present, offering an opportunity for networking and engagement. Guests include Sylvia Earle, Peter Thomson, Olivier Poivre d’Arvor among others."
