CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Dear friends of FOWT,

We are pleased to announce the launch of the FOWT 2026 call for abstracts. The deadline is set for December 6th, 2025, at 4pm, Paris time.

This next edition, FOWT 2026 will be held on March 24th, 25th and 26th, 2026 at Le Corum, Montpellier. 

NEW FORMAT 

Our traditional plenary sessions have been revamped to cover high-level topics, with a new format allowing for more discussion between speakers of differing perspectives.

Technical sessions will center exclusively on the latest scientific research and results. To complement them, a poster session will be organized for the first time at FOWT, giving a new voice to a wider range of participants.

Finally, our new workshops will allow for other technical topics to be addressed through debates and discussions between speakers and audience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

High-level abstracts that reflect concrete experience and/or highly technical content. Your abstract should be original and specifically prepared for FOWT 2026. At FOWT, we prize the "best of science" and "best of technology," with a strict "no pay-to-speak" policy. This also means that any abstract containing a strong commercial/pitch aspect will be rejected.

TIMELINE & SELECTION

The deadline for abstract submissions is set for December 6^th, 2025. The Scientific and Technical Committee will then review the submissions and make a proposal to the Organization Committee. Once approved, notifications will be sent in January 2026.

FOWT : connecting the best of science and industry

The Organization Committee, made up of the Mediterranean maritime and coastal economy cluster, Pôle Mer Méditerranée, and the French wind energy association, France Renouvelables are already hard at work to make the 2026 edition an even bigger success.
