Azeez Mohammed était basé à Dubaï depuis 2011, comme President & CEO, Power Generation Services, Middle East & Africa GE Power & Water puis depuis novembre 2015, il était président de GE Power Services pour le Moyen – Orient et l’Afrique. Diplomé de l’Université de l’Illinois à Urbana- Champaign, il est entré chez GE en 1998 où il fait toute sa carrière.
Azeez Mohammed sera basé au siège social de GE Power Conversion à Paris, France. Power Conversion fait partie de GE Energy Connections
In January, GE Power Conversion signed a contract to equip offshore wind turbines manufactured by Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment (Sewind) with 4MW Fully Fed LV3 wind converters.
GE has appointed Azeez Mohammed as the President and CEO of GE Energy Connections’ Power Conversion business, effective July 11, 2016. Azeez Mohammed comes to Power Conversion from his most recent role as President and CEO of GE’s Power Services business for Middle East and Africa.
Responsible for continuing to build the Power Conversion business,Mohammedwill notably strengthen the capacity of Power Conversion’s service network especially in emerging markets, GE said.
“Azeez brings both global and operational expertise to our business and will be a great add to the Energy Connections leadership team. He will be driving commercial and operational excellence for the Power Conversion business and its customers,”saidRussell Stokes,President and CEO of GE Energy Connections and Senior Vice President of GE.
