Allemagne Danemark France – February 11, 2021 – energiesdelamer.eu. Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of the Electrical Offshore Substation (Topside and Modular Support Frame) required for the Gode Wind 3 Offshore Windfarm, to be installed in 2023 in the German North Sea.

The 242 MW substation to be designed and fabricated in Saint- Nazaire (France) will collect and export the power generated by the offshore wind turbines through dedicated submarine cables, while remotely controlling and monitoring the operation of the offshore windfarm.

Subject to Ørsted’s final investment decision, this contract is an important sign of credit of the global leader in the offshore wind industry for Atlantique Offshore Energy teams, Chantiers de l’Atlantique’s Business Unit, following the successful execution of Westermost Rough Electrical Offshore Substation back in 2014. It also demonstrates the capacity of the company to carry-out turn-key projects, as it is the first Electrical Offshore Substation Ørsted entrusts under a full EPC scheme.

With the on-going execution of the first substations to be installed in France, this signature reinforces the position of our company on this competitive market. Thanks to this announcement, engineering studies can start to secure the installation of the substation currently foreseen in 2023.

March 4, 2020 – Ørsted conditionally selects Siemens Gamesa to supply 900 MW Borkum Riffgrund 3 and 242 MW Gode Wind 3 offshore wind power plants in the German North Sea

SG 11.0-200 DD offshore wind turbine to be employed featuring rotor with 200-meter diameter and new B97 blades

Approx 1.2 million German households to be served by projects; approximately 3.7 million tons of CO2 avoided annually. Service and maintenance agreement for five years will be included.

05/03/2020 – Si toutes les autorisations sont données et la décision finale d’investissement d’Ørsted confirmée, le projet Borkum Riffgrund 3 sera le plus grand projet offshore en Allemagne à ce jour. Le 4 mars, Ørsted a donc nommé Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy comme fournisseur de turbines pour les sites de 900 MW de Borkum Riffgrund 3 et de 242 MW de Gode Wind 3 sous réserve des préalables mentionnés ci-dessus (ICI).
